Anybody Home...?

Nope, I haven't blogged in a while. I missed the retirement of O'Connor, the London bombings and much more.

So why haven't I blogged?

Mostly, I'm just busy. I am working on a large annual design job, and of course - I have to deal with all of my "normal" work responsibilities at the same time. So, to put it lightly, I am working a lot. At the end of the month (7/27) I am heading for my first vacation in 5 years as we head for Las Vegas.

In the meantime, I am trying to figure out what my blogging is really all about. Seems like all I have been writing about is politics. Now, I think I do a decent job with this, but there are plenty of blogs out there you can read for that kinda stuff, many from writers a lot better than myself. So, when I get back to this on a regular basis, I want to be a bit more diverse with my subject matter. No, I won't be abandoning politics, but I want to talk about some of my other interests too - my family, my dog, computers, cameras, cooking, whatever.

So yeah, I'm here, I'm "home." Just really busy and trying to figure out the meaning of "blog" in my own life.
